Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Fly to Bahir Dar and after check-in to hotel morning excursion to Blue Nile Falls and afternoon depart by boat over Lake Tana to visit one of the old island monasteries Ura Kidane Mihret which is known for its round grass-roofed church with magnificent wall murals. Overnight in hotel. Day 2: Fly to Gondar and visit 17th century castles, Debre Berhane Selassie Church, Fasiledese's Bathing Pool, abbey of 18th century Empress Mentewab and Felasha (Black Jews) Village. Overnight in hotel. Day 3: Fly to Lalibela and whole day explore the incredible eleven 13th century rock hewn churches carved into the rugged mountainsides. Overnight in hotel. Day 4: Fly to Axum and visit numerous antiquates, historical relics and archaeological objects along with the famous Tsion Mariam Church where the original Ark of the Covenant is said to be housed.
