4 days of rafting, 3 nights of quality camping on the river bank, breathtaking views, tons of activities such as: caving, abseiling, tracking and above all - going through all the Zamanti, are making this one of the best river trips on the planet.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Early pick up from hotels and departure from Cappadocia to the Zamanti River. Around 09:30, a 20 minutes refreshment and clothes changing break in Yahyali. Later on kit up with safety gear and warm up on a grade 1-2 water section. Afterwards rafting through the blue canyon on grade 3-4 river with breaks for body rafting, site tours, games and a light meal on the way.
Around 14.30 take out and a short transfer to Güney Selale for an open buffet lunch on the river bank. After lunch we visit the world famous "Kapuzba waterfalls". Than we settle in our riverside camp, take it easy for the afternoon and explore the area and enjoy a delicious dinner from the Adana cuisine followed by a night around the fire and camping accommodation.
Day 2: After breakfast in camp and packing up we are back in the river for our daily adrenalin shot. Negotiating some 20 km of grade 4 rapids, we will spend our day on the river rafting between old chrome mines, exploring deserted caves and visiting pastoral villages.
After lunch on the river bank we will approach one of the most amazing sights of all rivers - Alice in wonderland. Later on we arrive at our Kup köy camp, make our last arrangements before nightfall, have a camping quality cooked dinner and spend the night together in the middle of nowhere.
Day 3: After breakfast on the river bank and packing up we will start with abseiling the boats and ourselves down to the river. Right after that we are down to a once in a lifetime experience: rafting through an 82 meters natural cave tunnel. Running along the river we will negotiate some of the Zamanti's best whitewater.
After lunch in the meeting point with the Seyhan river, The water that are added are creating some "big volume" type rafting that will carry us all the way to the end of the day. In the afternoon we arrive at our riverside camp, explore the ancient hydromechanic mill where nearby we will spend the night then enjoy a delicious village style dinner and spend the night in a million stars hotel.
Day 4: After breakfast on the river bank and packing up we will start our last rafting day on the river. Soon after going down to the river we will enter "the wishing well gorge" in which we will make all of our wishes to come through some grade 4-5 rapids. After a couple of hours of white fun the river will start evening out and soon after we will come out of the gorge for a lazy cruise down the Egener stretch.
After the arrival at the village of Egener we will change clothes and have a delicious lunch at the Muhtar's fish restaurant. After lunch we depart for Cappadocia on a 4 hours drive through the Kilikian passages with breathtaking views. We arrive at Cappadocia late afternoon and transfer to hotels.
