Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival to Ulaanbaatar. Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to 4 star Bayangol Hotel. Spend the remaining morning at leisure and take a guided tour of Ulaanbaatar city. Choose between the Natural history museum with its collection of dinosaur fossils and the National history museum displaying traditional costumes and introducing the turbulent history of the Mongolian nation.

Visit to the main city square and the Zaisan hill that provides a panoramic view of the city. At 6:00 pm will be a show of traditional music, throat singing and contortion. Welcome dinner in one of best restaurants of the city. Overnight in the hotel. Includes: (D).

Day 2: Flight to Western Mongolia. Accompanied by your guide take a 3 hour flight to Ulaangom, the capital of Uvs province. The province features some spectacular combination of desert, snow capped peaks and alpine lakes. It is home to a number of ethnic tribes of Durved, Bayad, Kazakh and Hoton. The largest Mongolian lake of Uvs is located here covering a territory of 3350 sq. km.

Upon landing in Ulaangom meet with the team of drivers and cooks and transfer to Boodog pass, the starting point of cycling. Upon reaching the Boodog pass there opens a view of a 3965 m high glaciated peak of the White Heron Mt. Here we set up a tented camp and cooks will serve your first dinner in the wild. Day 3: Acclimatization bike to Uureg lake. Total distance: 55 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4: Bike to Achit lake. Total distance: 65 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 5: Bike to Blue lake. Total distance: 75 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 6: Bike to Sogoot Mt. Total distance: 65 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 7: Bike to Hoilgiin river, visit a rock carving gallery. Total distance: 75 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Bike to White river, view Tavan Bogd Peaks and glaciers. Total distance: 65 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 9: A deserved rest day. In the afternoon visit a Tuvan family house. Hospitality of locals is unparallel. Learn about their life and traditions as well as sample their food. A sip of milk vodka is an essential part of the hospitality ceremony. Back in the camp will be served one of delicacies of the Kazak cuisine - "besbarmak". Literally meaning "five fingers" this is a delicious assortment of stewed meat, vegetables and flour eaten with hands. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 10: Bike to Sogoot river valley, traditional summer camp of Kazakh tribesmen. Total distance: 80 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 11: Day in Ulgy, the provincial capital. Load bikes an we drive (3 hours) to Ulgy town. Today we sleep in Kazakh gers. There is a separate building equipped with showers and bathrooms. Meals will be served by the local restaurant. In the afternoon take an optional visit to the town. A museum of Kazakh traditions, local bazaar and Mosque are the main attractions. Total distance: 110 km. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 12: Bike to Khagiin lake. Total distance: 90 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 13: Bike to Doroo lake, visit Kazakh falconers. Total distance: 65 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 14: Bike to Deluun valley. Total distance: 60 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 15: Bike to provincial capital of Khovd. Total distance: 60 km. Overnight in tents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 16: Return flight to Ulaanbaatar, free afternoon
Say good-bye to your support team and take a 3 hours flight to Ulaanbaatar. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. After hot showers and some rest we all gather for a farewell dinner. Overnight in the hotel. Includes: (L), (D).

Day 17: Free day in Ulaanbaatar. A free day for shopping and self-exploration around the city. You may refer to recommendations of our team in order to make most out of it. Overnight in the hotel. Includes: (B).

Day 18: Departure transfer. You will be transferred to the airport for your journey home. Includes: (B).
