Tour of The Victoria Falls - Zambia and Zimbabwean Sides, The Lion Encounter, and Chobe National Park in Botswana - Visit to 3 countries in 3 days only!
Tour Itinerary:
Day of Arrival: On the day you arrive in Zambia, we shall welcome you at the Livingstone International Airport in Zambia. We will transfer you to Chrismar Hotel which is situated a few kilometers from the Victoria Falls and just a Kilometre from Musi-oa-tunya National Park. After an hour or two of refreshing yourself in your luxury rooms, we shall take you for your welcome luxury African Queen sunset cruise on the waters of the might Zambezi River. Enjoy a wide range of wines, spirits lagers, and softies and snacks as much as you can while sailing through the banks of Musi-oa-tunya National park and get close to the Hippo, Crocodiles and other animals and birds along the river banks. Then you will be brought back to your hotel for your full dinner and drinks and then your first night at the hotel.
Day 1: After breakfast, you will straight away go for your morning tour off The Victoria Falls Zambian side. Victoria falls is one of the World`s Seven Natural Wonders and one of the spectacular natural sites in the world. The falls is about 1.8 Km wide with a volume of up to 10 million liters per second pouring down a vertical drop of 108 meters. The vapor can be clearly seen from a distance of up to 30 km, hence its name Musi-oa-tunya “The smoke that Thunders!”
After this we will go to Zimbabwe so that we give you a tour of the Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side. This will give you a complete view of the whole falls from both countries.
After this, we will take you for lunch at The Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. After lunch, you will now get to the long awaited and thrilling experience, “The Lion Encounter” The lion encounter offers a once in a lifetime insight into the behavior and social aspects of Africa’s most sought after photographic opportunity – The African Lion. Quests interact with 2 to 3 lion cubs for a period of approximately 1½ hours. The lions roam free with guests in the African bush along riverine vegetation and beautiful scenery. This is a must experience activity for all visitors coming to Africa. Then we will transfer you back to Zambia and to your Hotel for your full dinner, drinks and night rest.
Day 2: After breakfast, we will take you for a 3 hour walking safari in the midst of the African bush in the Musi-oa-tunya National park just upstream of the world’s renowned Victoria Falls. You will have close encounters with the endangered white rhino, elephants, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, wildbeast, zebra, impala and many more and fantastic birding too. You will have homemade snacks and refreshments too.
After this activity, you will now go for 30 minutes Helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls, the Batoka gorges, the Zambezi River and the national pack. Taking off, you head in the gorges below the falls, skimming above the rapids of the Zambezi River – an exhilarating experience. Coming out of the gorge, you circuit the falls themselves, returning over the Mosi-oa-tunya National Park where we hope to spot some of Africa’s big game. After viewing the falls from the ground in the previous activity, this activity will show you the raw, powerful beauty of the Victoria Falls from the best possible angle – from above!
After this activity, you will surely need your lunch at a river side lodge – The water front lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River.
After lunch, you will now “experience the African Elephant at close quareters” this is an amazing interaction experience. This activity gives you a once upon a time – elephant back safari – a ride on the back of an African elephant. After this, we will take you back to your hotel and then take you out for a dinner at “Ngoma Zamga African Restaurant, then take you back to the Hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast, we will now transfer you to Botwana for the Chobe Day Trip. Arriving at the port of entry to Botswana, one of our experienced guides will expose you to the magic that only Chobe could offer. Your activity begins with a three hour boat cruise on the tranquil Chobe River, where there is an astounding abundance of birdlife and game viewing opportunities. Following your boat cruise is a sumptuous lunch served at a riverside hotel after which you will experience yet more of Chobe’s bountiful wildlife from the comfort of one of the custom built game viewing vehicles.
After this activity, you will be transferred back to Zambia and to your Hotel. After this, we will now take you for your last dinner with us at The Zambezi Sun 3 star Hotel or the Royal Livingstone 5 star Hotel just on the banks of the Zambezi river. After dinner we will take you back to your hotel.
Day 4: This is the day of departure. After packing your bags, we will treat you to a breakfast cruise at Natural mystic lodge. You will have your breakfast cruise as we end our tour with you and get your views of your tour. After this, we will transfer you to the Livingstone International Airport for your flight back home.
