Tour Itinerary:
Day of Arrival: On the day of arrival at the Livingstone International Airport, we will welcome you at the Airport and transfer to Natural Mystic Lodge which is on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.
Thereafter, we will transfer you to the African Queen Cruise Company for your luxury African Queen sunset cruise on the waters of the Zambezi River. You will have free drinks and snacks as you watch the sunset and view the fauna and flora of the Zambezi River as you sail along the Musi-o-tunya National Park. Thereafter, you will be taken back to the lodge for your dinner and your first night sleep.
Day 1: After breakfast, you will go for an early morning Rhino walk in the Musi-o-tunya National Pack. This is a three hour walk led by a professional guide and park scout. Experience close encounters with the endangered white Rhino and other wildlife, including buffalo, impala, and Giraffe etc.
After this activity, you will now straight go for your long awaited Tour of the Victoria Falls for another 2 to 3 hours. This activity is free. We will even pay for your entrance fee. Victoria Falls is one of the world’s seven natural wonders of the World and one of the most spectacular natural sites in the world. The Falls are about 1.8km wide with a volume of up to 10 million liters per second pouring down a vertical drop of 108 metres. The vapor can be clearly seen from a distance of up to 30 km, hence its name Musi-oa-tunya “The smoke that Thunders.”
After this tour, you will have lunch and then go to another 3 hour amazing interaction experience with an African tamed elephant. This is the Elephant back Safari. Have you ever done it? Yes you can do it, you can ride on the back of an African tamed elephant while having frequent game and bird sighting. You will never come closer to Elephants than this in your lifetime. After this, you will surely need a rest and we will therefore get you back to the lodge for your rest, dinner and sound sleep.
Day 2: What a great day is this, so magical. Our clients call it the day of “The Magic of Chobe” After your breakfast this day; we will transfer you to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Departing at 08:30 from Zambian border into Botswana one of our experienced guides will expose you to the magic that only Chobe can offer.
Your day begins with a three hour boat cruise on the tranquil Chobe river of Botswana, where there is an astounding abundance of birdlife and game viewing opportunities.
Following your boat cruise is a sumptuous lunch served at a riverside hotel after which you will experience yet more of Chobe’s bountiful wildlife from the comfort of one of the custom built game viewing vehicles. After this, you will be transferred back to Zambia for your dinner and another night sleep.
Day 3: “The Day Of Lion Encounter!”. After breakfast, we will take you to Zimbabwe at Masuwe Safari Lodge for the ‘Lion Encounter.” This activity offers a once in a lifetime insight into the behavior and social aspects of Africa’s most sought after photographic opportunity – The African Lion. No lashes, no collars – just a natural African wildlife experience. The lions roam free with quest in the African bush along riverine vegetation and beautiful scenery. After this, you will be transferred back to Zambia and relax to have lunch. After this you will have a 30 minutes Helicopter flight over the mighty Victoria Falls. Taking off in your Helicopter, your head into the gorge below the falls, skimming above the rapids of the Zambezi River – an exhilarating experience! coming out of the gorge, you circuit the falls themselves, returning over the Musio-oa-tunya National Pack where we hop to spot some of Africa’s big game such as elephants and Rhino.
To wind up the day, you will then have a chance to visit the crocodile park of Livingstone. View the most notorious and huge crocodiles of Africa, with a wide collection of Zambia’s most dangerous snakes. This is a must see for visitors. After this, you will be taken back to the lodge for your dinner and night rest.
Day 4: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Livingstone International Airport for your flight to South Luangwa National park. We will fly you by the star of Africa chartered flights or our Zambian Airways International flight. You will stay 3 nights and 2 days in South Luangwa National Park.
About South Luangwa National Park
This is acknowledged as one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa and is rated as one of the top game reserves in the world. This is a must see park for every tourist visiting Zambia.
Wildlife
This is the only park in the world where you will find the Thorn craft Girraff and Crookston’s wild beast.
You will also be able to see the African elephants, buffalo, lion, leopard, puku, impala and many more.
Bird Life
Over 400 recorded species are found in and around the park. Some of the special but rare birds that may be seen are the African skinner, western bundled snake eagle, bathawk, red necked falcon; peel’s fishing owl and the pale billed hornbill.
Activities
Activities you will do may include walking safaris, day and night game drives, village tours and fishing.
Day 7: After breakfast, you will be flown back to Livingstone to Chrismar hotel or any other hotel depending on availability. You will have lunch and drinks to refresh yourself. Then in the afternoon, you will now meet the vulnerable, shop what you will want for them using USD 50 from the amount you will pay for this tour. Then you will hand over what you bought to the vulnerable of your choice, you will then be treated to an African Dinner as we have our last dinner with you. We shall share our memorable moments of the tour and then we will take you back to the hotel for your last night.
Day 8: Day of Departure. After breakfast, we will transfer you back to Livingstone Airport for your flight back home.
