This tour takes you into Torres del Paine National Park. This park, located in southern Chile, is considered one of the most spectacular National Parks due to its towers and horns which seem like real columns sculpted by glaciers. Punta Arenas, the capital of the Magallanes Region and a center for commerce, culture and society, where the majestic airs of its rich past can still be breathed is also a very nice place to visit.
Tour Itinerary: Day 1: El Calafate. Departure to Chile, by regular bus line, via Mina 1 or Cancha Carrera. Border crossing and continue to Puerto Natales and later to Torres del Paine National Park. Arrival and accommodation. (If accommodation in Torres del Paine is not available, passengers may be lodged in Puerto Natales). Day 2: Torres del Paine. Breakfast. Full day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park to admire its marvelous flora and fauna with the magnificent frame of the Torres del Paine Massif. A unique chance to admire the wonderful scenery of its lakes, rivers and glaciers. Return to the hotel. Day 3: Torres del Paine - Punta Arenas. Breakfast. Departure to Punta Arenas. Arrival and accommodation. In the afternoon, city tour visiting the major points of interest such as: Salesian Regional Museum, with its magnificent collection of Magellanic flora and fauna and exclusive relics evoking the folk customs and handicrafts of the Ona, Yagan and Alcalufe indians; the Patagonic Institute with its botanical gardens and the Pioneer’s Museum. Return to the hotel. Day 4: Punta Arenas/Río Gallegos. Breakfast. Departure by regular bus line to Río Gallegos (flight must depart after 7:00 p.m.); or transfer to the local airport.
