Day 1: Arrival to Amman via Queen Alia International Airport – our representative will meet & assist through all governmental formalities – transfer to hotel in Amman overnight.
Day 2: After Breakfast -Visit of the Desert Castles, built by the Omayyad Caliphs of Damascus in the 8th century AD as hunting lodges. Wildly varied in architectural style: Qasr Al-Kharraneh, Qasr Amra and Azraq Castle. Continue to Shaumari Nature Reserve, a breeding center for the Arabian Oryx and other endangered desert animals. Tour in the reserve including the visitors’ center, tower and breeding enclosures. Proceed to visit the old village and the farms with a possibility to enjoy the sunset at the mudflat. After dinner at Shaumari, experience a night safari trip while watching wild animal’s activities and life during night. Overnight at Azraq Lodge Camp.
Day 3: After Breakfast - Depart to Azraq Wetland Reserve, a desert oasis with marshes and pools with unique wetland trails for bird watching. Visit the reserve with a Tea break at the reserve’s theater. Drive to Madaba, home of the most famous Byzantine Mosaics and most of all the 6th century map of the holy places in the biblical world. Proceed to Mount Nebo, with its spectacular view of the Holy Land, continue to Dana for dinner and overnight either at Camp.
Day 4: Breakfast. Full day tour through Dana, experience the different hiking trials in Dana for 2 to 3 hours, the Rummana – Village trail, the cave trail, the campsite trail or the mountain trail. Continue to Dana Guest House for a tour of the village, Dana Center, the workshops and the Nature Shop. Then we proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5: After Breakfast - Your ultimate destination is the astonishing rose-red city of Petra. Which was built by Nabateans (An early Arab people). Petra was renowned for it massive architecture, pools, dams and water channels. Petra is the legacy of the Nabateans who settle in the South of Jordan more than 2 thousands years ago. The Treasury, Royal Tombs, The Court, Roman Theatre, Roman Street, museum of Petra with a possibility to visit one of the two highest points of Petra (Al Deir, The Monastery) almost 850 high or the high place of the Sacrifice, almost 600 steps high. Then back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Petra.
Day 6: After breakfast – Visit of Beidah “Little Petra”. Then, drive to Wadi Rum, the valley of the moon, with a visit by Bedouin Jeep for 2 hours. Hike to the Nabatean Temple and the springs at Rum Mountain. Drive to a special point to experience the desert Sunset. Dinner and overnight at Wadi Rum Camp.
Day 7: After Breakfast – an option of biking, hiking, climbing & ballooning in Wadi rum – depart to Amman for a free evening for shopping.
Day 8: After Breakfast – transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
