Addo Elephant Park kicks off the excitement with close viewing of these giants of the bush. You may also spot rhino, buffalo and perhaps even leopard or lion. Then travelling along the coast you explore the Garden Route with its wild, unspoilt beaches, forests and lagoons. There are many activities on offer; sea kayaking, mountain biking, hiking trails, dolphin spotting and surfing.

The fishing village of Kleinbaai offers a boat trip to see an enormous seal colony and a close up encounter with the awesome Great White shark if you dare (optional!) Hermanus is said to be the whale watching capital of the world and you can often sight them clearly from the cliff top (July-December). Finally to Cape Town - a truly beautiful city dominated by the flat-topped Table Mountain and surrounded by contrasting Atlantic and Indian Ocean beaches. You visit Cape Point to see the penguin colony, hike on Table Mountain and ride the revolving cable car. What an adventure!
