From Arusha you’ll head to the lush forest of Lake Manyara National Park where you should see large herds of elephants and maybe the unusual tree-climbing lions. Then you’ll journey into the rolling plains of the world’s largest and most renowned wildlife sanctuary – the Serengeti. On safari game drives you should spot a variety of game... giraffe, wildebeest, elephant, cheetah and many more. You’ll also take advantage (for one night) of a comfortable tented lodge as a break from camping.
You’ll visit Olduvai Gorge and learn about the area where fossils of the world’s first stone-age men were found. Then the excitement builds as you pitch camp on the rim of the incredible extinct volcanic crater of Ngorongoro. Its dramatic setting (like a vast natural amphitheatre) and the sheer abundance of wild animals provide the most fantastic photo opportunities. This is a safari holiday that you will never forget!. We support the Arusha Children's Trust, a charity that runs projects in rural communities in the more remote Rift Valley.
