The stunning coastline around Ao Nang on Thailand’s Andaman coast is covered in tropical and mangrove forest with dramatic, jungle-clad peaks thrusting out of the sea – the perfect place for a little sea kayaking. Travelling north to Khao Sok National Park you’ll enter one of the region’s oldest rainforests for an exciting jungle trek along superb trails. There’s the chance to go river tubing in season and it’s usually possible to ride elephants (optional).
On the beautiful tropical beach of Koh Phangnan you can recover from all the action. There are opportunities to snorkel or simply to relax. Next you’ll head to Koh Samui to explore the island’s coconut-palm filled interior; dramatic waterfalls and a butterfly ‘farm’ will keep all the family entertained. A further free day to relax on the beach ensures your batteries are fully recharged before returning home.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Join trip Ao Nang
Day 2: Sea kayaking trip
Days 3-4: Khao Sok NP; rainforest walk to caves, waterfall; optional elephant riding and river tubing
Days 5-6: Koh Phangnan; free day
Day 7: Koh Samui; explore the island, visiting waterfalls and butterfly farm
Day 8: Free on Koh Samui before evening flight to Bangkok
Day 9: Trip ends Bangkok
