In one of the first national parks to be established in Africa, the custodians of Kruger have faced tragedy, triumph and hardship, as they strive to protect a pristine wilderness that is sanctuary to over 700 species of mammals, reptiles and birds. On this inspiring walking safari in the African bush, we experience longer, extended game walks in one of the private concession areas of the Kruger National Park, all the time looking out for wildlife. Accompanied by two incredibly qualified and knowledgeable rangers, we have the opportunity to approach many large animals including lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and cheetah, as well as a wide variety of antelopes and other grazers. We may even be lucky enough to encounter leopard or African wild dog! However, your safety is always paramount and the wildlife that we approach and how we approach them will be dependant upon what we see and how they are behaving. Afternoon / evening game drives provide some well-earned relaxation and more traditional game-viewing experiences. Combine all this with staying in two stunning bush camps and you have an unforgettable week of memories and experiences.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: (Sun) Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to Hotel.
Day 2: Travel to Mpanamana Concession, Kruger National Park. Afternoon/evening game drive in private concession. Overnight in permanent tented camp.
Days 3-4: Extended morning game walks of 3 to 4 hours focusing on walking with large game. Afternoon / evening game drives.
Day 5: Longer walk from one permanent camp to another in the same concession area following animal migration routes. Afternoon / evening game drive.
Day 6: Final morning walk, domestic flight (included) to Johannesburg where tour ends upon arrival (Fri).
- Included: Experienced English-speaking local Peregrine leaders, arrival transfer, transport, accommodation, meals, game activities, entrance and park fees as indicated below:
- Not Included: Airport departure taxes, visas, meals unless specified in the itinerary, insurance, laundry, any optional tours or activities during free time, tips and items of a personal nature.
