Here we may see many species of animals, particularly hippos and crocodiles, in huge numbers, living amidst a spectacular setting. The Lower Zambezi Valley is scenically beautiful - the tranquil river and floodplains offer spectacular opportunities to get close to wildlife from canoes and boats. An evening game drive will be taken in the conservation area bordering the Lower Zambezi National Park and followed the next day with a full day canoe excursion. The game viewing here is outstanding and definitely not to be missed. We spend time in Kafue National Park, Africa's third largest and one of its more unspoilt national parks. Over three days we explore the northern regions of Kafue National Park, with its excellent game viewing, particularly around the Basunga Plains. There is a range of antelope species to be seen and the variety birdlife is incredible. The grand finale then waits at Livingstone: mighty Victoria Falls or 'Mosi-oa-Tunya' - the smoke that thunders!

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: (Sun) Arrive in Lusaka and transfer to hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 2: Drive north across Luangwa River to Chipata.
Days 3-5: Game drives, game walks and night drives in South Luangwa National Park.
Day 6: Final game activity in South Luangwa. Drive to Luangwa River.
Days 7-8: Drive to lodge on banks of the Lower Zambezi. Full day canoe excursion.
Day 9: Drive to Lusaka. Afternoon at leisure.
Days 10-12: Drive to Kafue National Park. Game drives.
Day 13: Final game activity in Kafue National Park. Drive to Choma.
Day 14: Drive to Livingstone. Guided tour of Victoria Falls.
Day 15: Tour ends after breakfast in Livingstone (Sun).
