Day-pack walking style to explore the world-class natural as well as cultural heritages in the western China i.e. Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, and the Sacred Taoist and Buddhist mountains Qingcheng and E'mei. Also, we will have chance to visit the other cultural heritages sites like Dujiangyan irrigation project and Leshan Giant Buddha.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Chengdu (B,L,D). Arrive in Chengdu, city orientation, welcome banquet. Overnight in Garden City Hotel***

Day 2: Chengdu – Guangyuan - Mianyang (B,L,D). Drive to visit panda breeding base, Baoguang Monastery and Sanxindui Bronze Museum in the north of Chengdu. Proceed to Mianyang, the fast growing industrial city which is the second largest metropolis in Sichuan, the largest TV set manufacturer all over China. Overnight in Lingyuan Hotel***.

Day 3: Mianyang – Pingwu – Jiuzhaigou National Park (B,L,D). Drive to Jiuzhaigou, en route brief visit to Baoguo Temple in Pingwu. Overnight in New Jiuzhai Hotel*** for continuous 4 nights.

Day 4: Jiuzhaigou - hiking (B,L,D)

Day 5: Jiuzhaigou - hiking (B,L,D)

Day 6: Jiuzhaigou – horse riding (B,L,D)

Day 7: Jiuzhaigou – Huanglong - Songpan (B,L,D). Proceed to Huanglong National Park, explore on foot. Overnight in Songpan Tianma Hotel***

Day 8: Songpan – Dujiangyan (B,L,D). Drive to Dujiangyan, along the Min River valley. Overnight in Yu Hua Hotel***

Day 9: Dujiangyang/Qingchengshan/Dujiangyan (B,L,D). Explore Qingcheng Mountains on foot, come down by cable car. Overnight in Yu Hua Hotel***.

Day 10: Dujiangyan – Dayi (B,L,D). Visit Dujiangyan Hydraulic Project, Dayi Landlord Manors and stay overnight at Anren Jingui Hotel***

Day 11-13: Mtn E’mei (B,L,D). Drive to the one of 4 sacred Buddhist Mountains in China - Mtn Emei, explore the mountains partially on foot, and stay one night at the summit(Golden Summit Hotel***) and 2 nights on the foot of mountains(Mtn E’mei Grand Hotel****)

Day 14: Emeishan – Leshan - Chengdu (B,L,D). Leave for Leshan, the gateway to Yangtze for ancient silk trade from Chengdu, to visit the Giant Buddha, the largest one in its kind, built in 8 - 9th century. Drive back to Chengdu for overnight. Overnight in Garden City Hotel***

Day 15: Chengdu (B,L,D). City tours, Wenshu Temple, Wuhou Temple and shopping in downtown. Overnight in Garden City Hotel***

Day 16: Chengdu/Home.
