15 Days Hanoi-Xuan Thuy-Cuc Phuong-Sapa and Tam Dao
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Hanoi, welcome by our guide and transfer to Xuan Thuy National Park for the night in guesthouse.
Day 2: Full day bird watching in Xuan Thuy National Park.
Day 3 to Day 7: Xuan Thuy National Park-Cuc Phuong National Park
Drive to Cuc Phuong National Park for bird watching till Day 07. Overnight in guesthouse. Our car will return to Hanoi.
Day 8: Cuc Phuong-Hanoi-Lao Cai
In the afternoon, pick up and transfer directly to Hanoi for your own dinner before taking the 21.30 p.m train to Lao Cai. Overnight on board the local train in a shared 4-berth cabin (soft sleeper).
Day 9: Lao Cai-Sapa
Arrive in Lao Cai Station early in the morning, transfer to Sapa for a 3 day bird watching in Sapa area. Overnight in hotel.
Day 12: Sapa-Hanoi
In the afternoon, take bus to Lao Cai Station for overnight train back to Hanoi. Overnight on board the local train in a shared 4-berth cabin (soft sleeper).
Day 13: Hanoi-Tam Dao
Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning, pick up and transfer to Tam Dao after breakfast. Bird watching from Day 13 to Day 15 in Tam Dao. Overnight in mini hotel. Our car will return to Hanoi.
Day 15: Tam Dao-Hanoi departure. Transfer back to Hanoi Airport for onward flight.
Note: You can extend your stay by taking trip to Halong Bay or spending a couple of days in Hanoi visiting its old quarters…

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
The more people you travel with, the less you pay. Due to the character of the tour, accommodation on this trip are mostly basic.
Our tour prices include:
- Accommodation with daily breakfast in hotel/guesthouse
- Transfers in private air-con vehicle with driver
- English speaking local guide (who bases at National Parks)
- All the entrance & sightseeing fees for all the visits as mentioned in the itinerary
- Local trains Hanoi-Lao Cai-Hanoi in soft sleeper on local train (private 4-berth cabin)
- Two bottles of drinking water (330ml) per person per day tour.
Our tour prices exclude:
- Flights to and from Vietnam + int’l departure airport tax
- Visa into Vietnam
- Meals other than those mentioned above
- Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone, drinks, etc…
- Tips for guide, driver, etc…
