What’s more fun than a group of likeminded folks traveling through a fabulous place? Group trips are a super way to experience this convivial part of the world. Each and every group takes on an energy and personality of its own and contributes to a travel adventure that can never be replicated. From over eight years of these traveling parties, no one has ever been disappointed in their group experience. Quite to the contrary, participants have been continuously delighted when their trips surpass expectations.
A vide-grenier (empty-attic) is France's answer to the U.S. garage sale. This is where a village or neighborhood gets together once a year to empty their homes of things they would like to pass on. You can find treasures, antiques, and anything under the Provencal sun. And the prices are head spinning! These are fantastic opportunities to get to know the culture (I have never seen a tourist at any of these sales - locals only.)
Local discount stores. Yes, they have them in France, too. But you won't find them in the storybook cities and villages that tourists haunt. You need to go to behind the scenes France and hit the shopping centers to get these bargains. Not pretty to look at, but you will get bang for your euro and able to bring home lots more goods.
Join us for this very special weekend, as we hit the road in search of bargains, sun, and fun. Outdoor markets, vide-greniers, discount stores, lunch, and afternoon tea are part of the itinerary.
