Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi - Overnight Train to Lao Cai. Our trip starts with an overnight train journey from Vietnam's capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. The train departs at 21:30 pm. (No meal included)
Hanoi - Laocai distance: 370 km
Day 2: Sapa - Tavan. 5.30am Arrive early in Lao cai at 06 00 am, we start our drive up the spectacular Sapa pass, which is 1300 m high, 33 km long. The bus ride uphill takes a little over an hour giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Arrive Sapa in the morning; we have some free time to wander around, exploring this beautiful multi-ethnic town.
At 10:00am, we start trekking down the Muong Hoa Valley. Stop for a picnic lunch, then continue to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people for a unique home stay experience. (L, D)
Trekking distance: 12 km/4 - 5hours
Day 3: Tavan - Giang Ta Chai - Ban Ho. Bidding farewell to the family after breakfast, we continue our day of trekking takes you along local paths, up and down rice terraces and into the villages and homes of the local hill tribes, the Dzays, the Dzaos, the Hmongs, the Tays. Picnic lunch by the stream before moving on to Ban Ho. Overnight with your Tay hill tribe family. (B, L, D)
Trekking distance: 17 km/4 - 6 hours.
Day 4: Ban Ho - Sapa - Hanoi. Short trek to the dirt road for the jeep ride back to Sa Pa. Free afternoon to explore Sa Pa town, with great shopping in the market. We are transferred in the late afternoon to Laocai for our train trip to Hanoi. Train at 21 15 pm. (B)
Trekking distance: 7 km/1-2 hours.
Day 5: Hanoi. Upon arrival at Hanoi Railway Station you will be transferred back to your hotel.

You will be collected from your hotel. Pick up time will be advised upon confirmation of booking. This tour must be booked at least 72 hours in advance of your travel date. Confirmation for this product will be received at time of booking.
