The Annapurna circuit trek starts from a drive to Besishar and wings through lush, subtropical forests and traditional farming villages. Every ridge yields a Himalayan panorama with Annapurnas, Fishtail and Himalchuli soaring above.
A trek of the Marshangdi River valley will bring you almost to the base of Gangapurna and into the Manang valley; here you will spend unforgettable days gazing in away at the snow-covered peaks above and the beauty of the landscape around.
Manang is a Himalayan Shangri - la. Then we will proceed to climb the pass Thorong-la (5416mtr) where you stand in the top, the 360-degree views are breathtaking and you will feel pride to be there. Although clouds roll in early, the curtain often lifts at sunset to rival radiant, glowing peaks.
Once we descend from the pass we will start to see the Mustang a colorful landscape and home to the Tibetan Buddhism and friendly people. We will follow the deepest gorge on Earth the kali Gandaki valley guarded by the giant peak Dhaulagiri (8169m) and Nilgiri.
We will pass through the apple and wheat farming interacting with local Thakali people and the sharing our beautiful moments with sheep and yak headers. The Annapurna circuit trek you can also end in Jomsom taking flight to Pokhara, if so the trek can be shorten to 16 or 18 days.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival day, check into hotel and rest.
Day 2: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley - world heritage sights.
Day 3: Drive to Beshishar and start Annapurna trekking.
Day 4-21: On lodge - to- lodge Annapurna trek (go over Throng - la pass) and drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara.
Day 22: Free day in Kathmandu, join Nepali cultural show and dinner.
Day 23: Final departure, transfer to hotel.
