Day 1: Bangkok (-/-/-)
Arrive Bangkok Airport where you will be met by our guide and transferred to yoou hotel. On the way you will be given lots of useful information to help you make the most of your time in the city.
Day 2: Bangkok (B/L/-)
Take an excursion by boat on the canals of Bangkoks surprisingly rural western suburbs. Enjoy the natural scenery and observe the daily lives of the people who live along the canals. Stop en route for an opportunity to talk to some of the students attending a temple school or take leisurely stroll through vegetable and herb gardens. Carry on by boat to an orchid farm and the boat-house where the Royal Barges are kept and maintained. Return to the pier. After for lunch be enthralled by the beauty of three monasteries, spectacular yet delicate Thai architectural works of art: the Marble Temple, Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the Golden Buddha Temple.
If you are already familiar with Bangkok then you can request alternative sightseeing such as Wat Ratchanatdaram to see the only existing Metal Palace in the world, the amulet market where Thais buy and exchange Buddha images, the Giant Swing and Wat Suthat for its outstanding Ordination Hall and beautifully crafted wooden doors.
