Your Itinerary

Day 1: Bangkok/Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) (B/-/-)

Early morning pick up from your hotel for the 2 1/2-hour drive to Korat, gateway to Isan, where the food, dialects and ways of life are different from the central region of Thailand. In the afternoon take a trip to visit Pimai to see the ruins of this famous 10th-century Khmer shrine and then on to the archaeological site of Ban Prasat where human skeletons, ancient weapons, ornaments and other artifacts have been found in pits dating back to prehistoric times. Return to overnight in Korat and some free time to explore the city.

Day 2: Nakhon Ratchasima (B/-/-)

Morning departure for Phanom Rung, the largest and the best restored Khmer temple complex in Thailand, and the Meang Tam sanctuary, a brick structure with 5 pagodas surrounded by laterite ponds. In the afternoon visit the Pak Tongchai Silk Center to see the process of silk production.

Day 3: Nakhon Ratchasima/Bangkok (B/-/-)

Morning free until transfer to the railway station for the early afternoon train to Bangkok. Arrive Bangkok at about 17.30. End of services.
