Flying into the heart of Argentina; into the resplendent Buenos Aires, we spend our initial handful of days on our tour exploring the easily-navigated inner-city and venturing farther afield to witness nature at its most spectacular at the national park encompassing the cascading magnificence that is the Iguazu Falls. We visit the many religious, historic and cultural landmarks of Buenos Aires, a glistening metropolis that houses about one third of the country's entire population, and venture to the natural wonderland of Patagonia to find turquoise lakes, lush pine forests and glacier sceneries in abundance. Our tours include visits to the third largest lake in South America, a trip to one of the world's few remaining advancing glaciers, exploration through the world's southernmost city and the opportunity to witness first-hand a wide array of wildlife, including whales, sea lions, elephant seals and penguins.
