For a full 30 days, we tour two of South America's most rewarding destinations; Argentina and Chile. Starting off in Buenos Aires, we enjoy some exploration of the vibrant city and its historic and cultural landmarks, before heading for the unforgettable spectacle of the roaring Iguazu Falls, where we can witness the natural world in all its splendor. Continuing this theme, we head to what is arguably the finest wildlife reserve in all of South America, Peninsula Valdes, to watch whales, sea lions, elephant seals and penguins frolic in their natural habitat.
As we traverse the breathtaking Argentine countryside, we take the time to stop in towns steeped with historic attraction and immerse ourselves in the unique culture and surroundings. We fly to Chile's capital, Santiago, travel down the Chilean Central Valley, ensuring we visit the world-famous wineries along the way, pass through magnificent landscapes to the foothills of the Andes and continue south to the Chilean side of Patagonia. We spend time in Torres del Paine and in the Atacama desert; we sail in the Chilean fjords; we visit picturesque villages; and we end this comprehensive Chile leg of the tour in Santiago, where we catch our flight home.
