We arrive in the newest and largest of the major Latin American cities, Buenos Aires in Argentina, and we enjoy some time touring this unique destination brimming with fascinating sights of interest before we head towards Glacial National Park to begin our expedition in Patagonia. Our gentle walks and hikes provide more than ample time to soak in the majestic panoramas of the area and few vistas in the world can compare to the sight of the 'King of the Patagonia,' arguably one of the three most beautiful mountains on the planet (along with Alpamayo in Peru and K2 in the Himalayas). There is also the option to partake in more strenuous hikes over glaciers for those looking for a particularly active tour. We cross into Chile and enjoy some national parks with spectacular views of turquoise lakes, roaring waterfalls, sprawling glaciers and verdant forests, all with teeming wildlife enough to satisfy the most ardent animal-lover, before heading back to Buenos Aires to end our tour.
