From the Chinese temple and historic sites, to the botanical gardens, we spend time enjoying the wondrous man-made and natural attractions in this unforgettable city. Leaving Darwin, it's on to the cascading waterfalls, tropical rainforests and vast array of bird and reptile life in Litchfield National Park, then into the bush for a fun, educational experience of the ancient Aboriginal way of life, including spear-throwing and didgeridoo-playing.
No tour to Australia would be complete without a visit to the world-famous natural attraction of Ayres Rock and our trip to King's Canyon reveals a geological jewel at the western end of the George Gill Ranges. Stopping in to view the 130-year-old comet crater at Gosse Bluff, we head for the Wallace Rock Aboriginal Community, where we come face-to-face with a living Aboriginal history and enjoy the barren beauty of the surrounding countryside. We travel through Alice Springs to Darwin for our flight home.
