Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Bangkok / Mae Sot (-/-/-)
Participants should contact us for trek briefing during the afternoon prior to their transfer to the bus station for the overnight air-conditioned public bus to Mae Sot.
Day 2: Mae Sot / Umphang (-/L/D)
Arrive Mae Sot in the morning, and meet the local guide at the bus station. Time to visit the border town of Mae Sot and explore its morning market. The town has a thriving market based on cross-border trade. After lunch depart Mae Sot by pick-up truck for the 3½-hour drive through the beautiful mountainous terrains on twisting, turning road to Umphang for dinner and overnight at Tu-Ka-Su Cottage.
Day 3: Umphang (B/L/D)
After breakfast take a rafting trip along the Mae Klong River, for about 4 hours, through the lush forest to Te-Lo-Jo Waterfall and hot spring. After a picnic lunch continue by trekking for 4 hours to Te-Lo-Su campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Umphang (B/L/D)
After breakfast trek for 30 minutes to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand, Te-Lo-Su. Relax by the falls and after a picnic lunch trek for 3 hours to Kotha Karen village for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Umphang / Mae Sot (B/L/-)
After breakfast set off on elephant back for a 2-hour ride to Sop Hui Maelamung and after stopping for a picnic lunch return to Mae Sot, arriving in the late afternoon.
Day 6: Mae Sot - Chiang Mai or Bangkok (+1) (B/-/-)
Morning transfer to bus station for public bus to Chiang Mai via Tak. Arrive Chiang Mai in the afternoon and then either own trasfer to hotel or take the public bus back to Bangkok. Please advise at the time of booking. End of sevices at either the bus station in Chiang Mai or in Bangkok.
Notes:
1. Please be aware that the bus ticket (Bangkok / Mae Sot) can be purchased only 10 days prior to departure day, therefore, in the case of the advance reservation, the booking can be confirmed for all services except this bus ticket. After the ticket is bought we will then reconfirm full services.
2. Kindly let us know if you would prefer to fly to Mae Sot from Bangkok, in which case, one extra night in Mae Sot is required prior to the start of activities on Day 2.
3. In Chiang Mai, a supplement for high season and/or compulsory dinners will be advised at the time of booking, if applicable.

- Air-conditioned transport and open pick up truck in remote areas.
- Accommodation
- Day 1 Air-conditioned public bus with wide-angle adjustable seats for more comfort during the overnight trip. Normally soft drinks & snacks will be served on the bus and one stop made en route.
- Day 2 Tu-Ka-Su Cottage, a local guesthouse on the hillside overlooking Umphang, rooms with private toilet, hot and cold water.
- Day 3 Camp site with camping equipment (waterproof tents and sleeping bags) included.
- Day 4 Accommodation in Kotha Karen village is in a bamboo hut with mosquito net, sleeping bag and a sheet, with shared toilet facilities.
- Day 5 Accommodation will be at Central Maesot Hill Hotel in Maesod based on 2 persons in a twin-bedded room on B/B basis. All rooms are air-conditioned with attached bath and toilet.
- Meals as specified in the program.
