Your Itinerary
Day 1: Bangkok / Kanchanaburi (-/L/-)
Early morning departure for a trip to historic Kanchanaburi with visits to the Allied War Cemetery, the WWII Museum and the bridge over the River Kwai. Take a train journey on the Death Railway over the bridge and a spectacular wooden viaduct built by the POWS. Check in at Kasem Island Resort. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the resort's pool, explore by yourself Kanchanaburi town or take the option of horse riding at the nearby River Kwai Family Horse Camp.

Day 2: Kanchanaburi / Elephant ride / Hellfire Pass / Thong Paphoom / Jungle Camp (B/L/D)
After breakfast transfer by local truck to an elephant camp on the bank of the Kwai Noi River and have fun riding an elephant through the woodlands alopng the rivebank. Continue to Hellfire Pass Memorial. Visit its comprehensive exhibition at the memorial's museum and walk down to a site in the River Kwai Valley for a glimpse the remnants of the Death Railway in this scenic location. Continue further north to the hilly Thong Papoom district with lunch en route. Stop at a local market in Thong Pha Phum town to buy food and forest gear for the jungle stay before travelling through by jungle by 4x4WD local pick-up along a 3 Kms dirt track to reach the jungle campsite situated beside the peaceful Mae Nam Noi stream. At leisure until time for an authentic Thai dinner in the candle light.

Day 3: Jungle Camp / Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
Start the day with bird-watching around the stream and the camp's vicinity. After breakfast set off for a jungle trek up the stream and then take an exciting bamboo raft trip down through some gentle rapids. Enjoy the forest scenery in this peaceful environment. Lunch at the jungle camp and then leave the jungle by 4x4WD and transfer back to overnight at Kasem Island Resort.
Day 4: Kanchanaburi / Erawan National Park / Bangkok (B/L/-)
After breakfast head to Erawan National Park to visit the spectacular Erawan Waterfalls, considered by many to be the most beautiful in the country. This 1,500-metre cascade of water breaks into seven separate tiers, each with its own profusion of plant life. Deep, emerald-green pools await those energetic enough to take the well marked trail which goes all the way up to the sixth tier. The first tier is especially good for a swim after the 700-metre climb from the parking area. A packed lunch is provided.
Return to the resort and then transfer back to Bangkok.
Arrive Bangkok, end of services.

- Hotel accommodation in Kanchanaburi is standard-class based on 2 persons in a twin-bedded room on B/B basis. All rooms/bungalows are air-conditioned with attached bath and toilet.
- At the jungle camp: accommodation is either in bamboo tree-shacks, tents or bamboo huts. (Mosquito nets are provided. No electricity, shared bathrooms and toilets). Please bring your own mosquito lotion, towel and toiletry items. Sport shoes or walking shoes and loose cotton clothes are recommended
