A spectacular flight to Lukla sets the scene for the splendors to come as you make your way up Namchebazaar the colorful center of Sherpa life. After acclimatization climate by spending time exploring this bustling, Sherpa village, it is timed to trek up through the friendly Sherpas settlement and past active Buddhist monasteries.

The objective is Gokyo Lakes where the Khumbu range reflected in the emerald green water below and optional excursions to Gokyo Ri may yield while a stunning view of Makalu and Everest range. From here you will head for the main Everest trial and the rocky summit of Kalapattar (18,193 ft), and its unsuppressed close a view of mount Everest and its giant neighbors.

After accomplish this feat, you will trek back through the Khumbu valley to Lukla for a flight back to the Kathmandu for some city adventures to match your trekking highs.

Important note: The famous Mani rimdu festival in Tengboche monastery is scheduled each year on November. Mani Rimdu is the important festival in Tengboche. It consists of a nine day meditation cycle and ends with a public blessing ceremony and the world renowned Mask Dances at Tengboche Monastery.

The following are the approximate dates of Mani Rimdu events this year based on the Tibetan lunar calendar. Making of the sand mandala and tormas (sculptures made of made of colored butter and barley flour representing symbolic offerings).

Drupchen ceremonies: Practice dancing without masks Wong (blessing ceremony for the general public). Famous Mask Dances open to the public. During the whole night there is traditional dancing by the Sherpa community. If you are interested to take part in this famous great Himalayan festival please ask us for detailed itinerary.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival day, check into hotel and rest.
Day 2: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley, world heritage sights.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla and start the lodge-to-lodge Everest trekking.
Day 4 - 18: On Everest trekking and fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu, evening Nepali cultural show and dinner.
Day 20: Final departure.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

- 3 star hotel accommodation in cities (twin sharing)
- Meals: 18 breakfasts, 15 lunches, 16 dinners.

Note: Minimum 2 person in a group, if just 1 person price will be revised. This trip involves walking of 4-6 hours per day and covers an altitude ranging from MIN 1300 Mtr. to MAX 5500 mtr. The local flights is from Kathmandu to Lukla return.
