Your itinerary
Day 1, Monday: Ayudhaya - Maenam Lopburi - Maenam Pasak - Aranyik Village (-/-/D)
Own transfer to board the “Thanatharee” at Ayudhaya train station pier at 13.30 and cruise up Lopburi River. Take a bike ride to explore local villages and the cottage industries they engaged in. Stop at the Elephant Village where the elephants in Ayudhaya live with their mahouts and the Elephant Kraal Pavilion which was used for the Royal Elephant Round Up in the olden days. Rejoin the barge and cruise along the Pasak River. Moor at a local village for the night and enjoy dinner on board.
Day 2, Tuesday: Aranyik Village - Prasat Nakorn Luang - Maenam Pasak - Ayudhaya (B/L/-)
An opportunity to give food to the monks on their morning alms round. After breakfast set off by bicycle to Aranyik village renowned for its hand-crafted knives and all kinds of cutting utensils. Continue to bike through the countryside surrounded by paddy fields with the possibilities of visiting a a school or a short stop at a house making home-made Krayasart, a Thai sweet freshly made from peanuts and coconut. Visit Prasat Nakorn Luang, royal accommodation from the late-Ayudhaya period built in a unique blend of architectural styles resembling a Khmer shrine. Rejoin the barge and cruise to the Chao Phraya River with lunch served on board.
Arrive at Ayudhaya train station pier at approximately 13.00 hrs. Disembark ready to set off to the next destination.

Notes:
A transfer between Bangkok and Ayudhaya and/or v.v. with a visit to the ruins of Ayudhaya can be arranged for a supplementary charge.
During the months, normally, around September-November river conditions may mean it is necessary to make adjustments to the itinerary but the essential concept will be maintained.

- The barge provides air-conditioned multi-share accommodation for a maximum of 12 persons, the sleeping area being divided into two sections by a curtain. One common bathroom and one toilet are located on the main deck, a second toilet is on the upper deck. You should bring your own personnel toiletries (towel and soap are provided).
