Your Itinerary
Day 1: Bangkok (-/-/-)
Arrive Bangkok Airport where will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Transfer to Ruen Nuad House for a jet lag massage to reduce the tension of the long flight. There are various options available for those who wish to experience the treatments of the spa house using Thai herbs in their special blends.
Overnight.
Day 2: Bangkok (B/-/-)
Morning transfer to Wat Mahathat for a meditation session (approximately 09.00-11.00) The session normally starts with an introduction, then meditation practice followed by a group discussion.
Afterwards take a ferry across the river to Wat Arun, so called the Temple of Dawn for sightseeing, followed by a visit at Wat Po, including 1 hour of traditional Thai massage.
Day 3: Bangkok-Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
Morning departure for Kanchanaburi to visit the Allied War Cemetery, the Jeath Museum and the Bridge over the River Kwai. Take a train journey on the Death Railway over the bridge and a spectacular wooden viaduct built by the POWs. After lunch at a local restaurant by the river at Pak Seng take a boat for the 30-minute trip up the Kwai Noi River to the Jungle Rafts. Visit a local Mon village, enjoy elephant riding through the bamboo forest and the fun of canoeing on the river. After dinner see a display of Mon dancing.
Day 4: Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
After breakfast relax with a Thai-style solar bath and take a walking tour to visit a herbal and a horticultural garden and pick up fresh herbal plants for the Thai cooking course and a herbal steam bath.
Lunch at the resort, followed by Royal Thai Traditional Massage & Herbal Pad & Herbal Steam Bath. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Kanchanaburi-Bangkok (B/L/-)
Morning at leisure, with various options such as swimming, bird watching, mountain biking, or experiencing a foot massage and herbal steam bath. After lunch, take a boat trip to the pier and continue by minibus to Bangkok.
Day 6: Bangkok - Chiang Mai (B/-/-)
Day at leisure until time to transfer to the station for the night train to Chiang Mai
Overnight on train.
Day 7: Chiang Mai (-/-/-)
Arrive Chiang Mai in the morning, transfer to your hotel. Take a tour around Chiang Mai town and visit it’s famous and historic monasteries with their distinctive northern-style architecture, all dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries, including Wat U-Mong, a distinctive and delightful meditation temple.
Day 8: Chiang Mai (B/-/-)
Early morning transfer to the center of Hathayoga, for yoga exercises to relax and balance the body, reducing tension and calming the spirit. Instruction is available for all levels of ability and knowledge, including beginners.
Afternoon transfer to Ban Sabai Chiang Mai Village - a spa for health and well-being with its Aroma Oil Massage, a meditative and deeply relaxing way of massaging aroma oils onto the body to give the final revitalization of the body & mind.
Day 9: Chiang Mai (B/-/-)
End of services after breakfast
