Since the Second World War, Poland has seen massive reconstruction and this effort has not been in vain as we see the glorious history and culture that exudes from every well-preserved structure throughout this vibrant country. Take part in a walking tour through the Old Town of Warsaw and see the Wilanoe Palace, which once was called home by royalty and is now home to an impressive collection of art. A stroll along Lazienki Park and we will witness the stunning sight of the Palace on the Water.
This extensive tour offers us numerous opportunities that aren't common to those who choose to travel alone; we can surely appreciate this when we take a lunch break in the house that was once the home of the famous composer Frederic Chopin. The history of Poland shines through the medieval town of Torun because it escaped significant damage during the war. Take an interesting excursion to the Nicolaus Copernicus Museum, which contains a great deal of material based on the life of this early astronomer. The beauty of northern Poland will be discovered along the way as we explore the Kaszuby Region.
