The 13th-century castle in Tallinn, Estonia, not only stands as one of the finest examples of the country's antiquity, but it also still serves as the country's parliament. Architectural past lives on through the Rundale Palace in Riga, which provides a fantastic show of Baroque style from floor to ceiling.
