The Aqueduct that runs along the Iberian Peninsula is one of the best-preserved crowning achievements of the Roman Empire. Get a feel for life as it was in earlier centuries as we inspect Spain's array of awe-inspiring monasteries and cathedrals from floor to ceiling. The elegant atmosphere of the San Isidoro Collegiate Church is quite overwhelming as the sun showers its light through its 100 glazed windows. A quick stop outside the city of Avila lets us view the immaculacy of this preserved walled City. During our stay in Madrid, we wander the massive halls of the Royal Palace and then examine the extensive collection of Spanish Royalty over the years on display at the Prado Museum.
