View the Despenaperros mountains from afar and see how such majesty has inspired centuries of art such as displayed at the Prado Museum in Madrid. Spain's people form a mosaic of character that is an artwork in itself. The multiculturalism of Cordoba especially shines through its many places of worship, raging in religion and denomination. A walk rough the Synagogue in the Jewish quarter of the city entices one to learn more about its intricate history. Seeing the Cathedral-Mosque, the only Catholic cathedral built in the heart of a mosque, is an inimitable experience.
