The Menderes River Valley is a route that opens our eyes to the rural countryside of Turkey. The Cappadocia is an area that is incomparable to anywhere on Earth, especially when we stand next to its large mounds of volcanic dust that reach heights of 9 meters (30 feet). Needless to say, this is landscape that will surely take anyone’s breath away. When we arrive in the capital of Ankara, we can visit one of the world’s most precious museums and the Mausoleum of Ataturk.
Crossing from Asia into Europe is as easy as crossing the Bosphorus suspension bridge in Istanbul, the only city in the world that spans two continents. Visit the famous Topkapi Palace that once housed the Ottoman sultans from the mid - 15th to early early - 19th century. See the church of St. Sophia, which was the largest of its kind for 1,000 years since it’s construction in 548BC.
