Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Following the way of "El Tren de Las Nubes" by the gorge of "Toro", admiring the views of the snake-like railway, we reach to the Tastil ruins where we observe the remains of an old native, Indian settlement. Afterwards we go on up to San Antonio de Los Cobres, former capital city of the territory in the times of the Spanish Empire. From there, we head to Salinas Grandes (salt flat) in Jujuy province, where we can see the llamas herds from a short distance and we can wait the sunset on the salt flat. Them we return to San Antonio Village to sleep in hotel.
Day 2: We go from the village to the base of San Geronimo Volcano in jeep where are a abandon mine. Them we start the trek of 2 hours to get the summit and them we back down in 1 hour to the jeep to return to Salta city in 3 hours.
