Your Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Luang Prabang (-/-/-)

Arrive in Luang Prabang airport, you are met and transferred to the hotel by our provided transportation. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. After a short rest, we are riding to visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River, from there we experience the Street Night Market where you can found the traditional textile collection, gift away and souvenirs. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – Trekking – Muang Khai – Khouangsi (B/-/-)

Breakfast, we cross the Mekong River to the right bank, and start an easy trekking to visit the ancient royal temple of Wat Long Khoune and continue the trek to Ban Chan to visit the traditional pottery kiln. Then, take a long-tail boat to Muang Khai to continue the trek from Ban Nong Haew, located over the mountain path to visit the hill tribe villages such as Khmou, H’mong and arrive at natural waterfall of Khuangsi, where you can splash into a cool big pool and strolling around in unspoiled natural forest, visit the village of Ban Thaphen and Ban Ouay. Overnight at Ban Thapen at Villa Vanvisa.

Day 3: Khouangsi Waterfall – Luang Prabang – Departure (B/-/-)

Breakfast, very early morning, we are driving back to Luang Prabang to visit The National Museum at the Former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. As our city exploring is on, we continue visiting the local market at Phosi Market, where can be found the topical local foods of Luang Prabang displace. As you time is rush, after enjoying your lunch, we transfer you to airport.
