Two weeks discovering the best of Saharan and sub-Saharan culture and customs, craft, wildlife, and scenery. Visit some of the most interesting cultures and scenery on earth! The Tuareg and Fulani nomads of northern Niger are some of the last nomadic peoples who still practice their lifestyles much as they always have. Handsome, warm, and friendly folks, they are some of the most impressively self-sufficient people in the world. We want to offer a millennium trip to a place where very little has changed in the last millennium. Perhaps to give us an opportunity to reflect back on the gains and losses of our Western culture during this period and to appreciate some of the wonderful attributes of a culture very different from our own. This will without doubt be a vacation you'll never forget!
