Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Chennai. Arrive Chennai. Transfer to Hotel Overnight Chennai
Day 2: Chennai. After breakfast, full Day tour of Mahabalipuram & Kanchipuram Kanchipuram (64 km from Chennai) is the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines. Overnight will be at Chennai.
Day 3: Chennai - Madurai. After breakfast proceed for the city tour of Chennai. Visit the Museum to see the Art and Bronze Gallery. Late evening transfer to railway-station for overnight journey to Madurai.
Day 4: Madurai. Morning arrive Madurai and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva. Visit the Meenakshi Temple in the evening for the Grand Aarti. Overnight will be at Madurai.
Day 5: Madurai - Periyar. By Road covering 180 km in approx. 4 hr. After breakfast, drive to Periyar National Park. It extends to 777 square km & forms part of the high mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Enjoy a boat ride in the Periyar Lake. Visit Kumily Spice Market in the evening. Spend night at resort in Thekkady.
Day 6: Thekkady - Trivandrum. By Road covering 200 km in approx. 4 hr. After breakfast, drive to Trivandrum viewing the scenic beauty en-route. Kerala is lush green and is full of lakes and water.
Reach and relax at Trivandrum.
Day 7: Trivandrum. After breakfast, day will be free in Trivandrum or optional tours to Cape Comorin (Kanya Kumari - the southern most part of India) or nearby places like Kovalam beach, etc.
Day 8: Trivandrum - Cochin. By Road covering 260 km in approx. 6 hr.
After breakfast, drive to Cochin visiting the Kerala village en-route. The eventful history of this city began when a major flood in AD 1341 threw open the estuary at Kochi, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbors in the world. In the evening proceed for a Kathakali Dance Presentation. Overnight will be at Cochin.
Day 9: Cochin - Bangalore. After breakfast proceed for city tour of Cochin. One of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian Sea coast, Kochi, earlier known as Cochin, has been a pot of call for foreign traders from early times. Checkout will be at 1200 hrs. Transfer to railway-station for overnight journey to Bangalore.
Day 10: Bangalore. Morning arrive Bangalore and transfer to hotel followed by breakfast. Bangalore - where every season carries a holiday mood, a city called the Garden City of India, a city which has identified it self as the Manhattan of India, a city which keeps pace with the latest trends and fashion. Overnight will be at Bangalore.
Day 11: Bangalore - Mysore. By Road covering 140 km in approx. 3 hr Breakfast will be served at hotel. Drive to Mysore. Visit the Seringipatnam en-route. Arrive and transfer to hotel.
Day 12: Mysore. Breakfast will be at hotel. Morning visit the palace of the Maharaja built in 1911 - 1912. Afternoon will be free. Overnight will be in Mysore.
Day 13: Mysore - Chennai. Breakfast will be at hotel. Morning will be free. Transfer to rail-station to catch the train for Chennai.
Day 14: Chennai / Onward destination. Transfer to airport for onward destination.
