Leave Almaty Friday evening to the river Ili. Stay overnight in tents. On Saturday program will be simple kayaking on the Ili to “Nightingale’s Island”. It is a lonely island with big shady trees, inhabited only by nightingales. There will be tents and hot soup on the island. Sunday at leisure, boat around the island on kayaks, excursion to the desert, and swimming in shallow channels with sandy bottom.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Afternoon drive from Almaty to the Ili river, 130 km, 3 hours. Dinner. Overnight in tents, campfire.
Day 2: Breakfast; simple kayaking on the Ili river, 50 km, 7 hours. Lunch on rafting. Overnight in tents on nightingale’s island, after dinner campfire.
Day 3: Breakfast; at leisure. Lunch. Return to Almaty.
