This tour is designed to allow you experience one of the most spectacular trekking routes in Mongolia. The route lies along far north western borders with Russia and the Russian republic of Tuva. The tour takes you through a variety of landscapes: high alpine lakes at over 2000 m above sea level, 3000 m mountain passes, glaciers, and majestic peaks above 3900 m, swift mountain streams and wooded slopes.

The area as is a home to unique ethnic groups such as Hoton, Durvud, Bayad and Kazak. Each one of them has an interesting at times dramatic scenes behind their history, all to be shared with you. During trekking our camp and kitchen will be carried by pack animals driven by Hoton and Durvud nomads.

Day 3: Trek to Blue lake. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 4: Trek to confluence of Kharkhiraa and Turgen rivers. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 5: Trek to Ekhen Khoroo Mt. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 6: Trek the alpine area and lakes. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 7: Cross Kharkhiraa pass and descend to Many Lakes. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 8: Trek to Black Goat valley, snow leopard habitat. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 9: Trek to snow leopard information center. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 10: Drive to Uureg lake. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 11: Rest day at Uureg lake. Tent. Includes: (B, L, D).
