Fully escorted from the US, for four amazing days, we will immerse ourselves in sacred Lhasa of Tibet. There, we will visit the Dalai Lama’s original Monastery, Potala Palace. We will visit Sera, a famous temple.
We will go to Lublinka, the summer palace of the kings and monks of ancient dynasties. We will hear the monks chant and pray. We will meditate with authentic Tibetan Buddhist monks in a holy place that has existed for thousands of years.
The journey begins with four nights in Beijing, China, to adjust to the climate and sightsee before ascending to the heights of Tibet. We will visit the Lama Temple, participate in a Chinese Tea Ceremony, dine at fabulous restaurants, and much more.
After Tibet, we stay in an exquisite hotel and visit Suzhou, "the Venice of the Orient" and home to ancient scholars, artists and poets. The last 3 days will be spent in Shanghai, the fastest growing city in the world. We will visit the Jade Buddha Temple and other holy sites. We will end our tour with a scenic night cruise on the Huangpu River.

Tour Itinerary: (As all groups are unique, we allow for some spontaneity in our schedule)
Day 1: Depart USA for Beijing.
Day 2: BEIJING - Arrive Beijing. Day at leisure. Evening welcome dinner.
Day 3: BEIJING- Sightseeing -Great Wall. Cloisonné Factory. Chinese Tea Ceremony. Summer Palace.
Day 4: BEIJING - Sightseeing - Temple of Heaven, Pearl Market, Forbidden City, evening Kung Fu Show.
Day 5: BEIJING - Tian’anmen Square. Tong Reng Tang Herbal Pharmacy. Rickshaw tour through old Beijing Hutong, Lama Temple. Dinner at Bai Family Restaurant.
Day 6: LHASA -Beijing fly to Lhasa of Tibet. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day 7: LHASA -Visit Potala Palace, once world's largest monastery. Next to Sera, a very famous temple. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day 8: LHASA Visit Drepung Monastery. Lublinka, the Summer Palace. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day 9: SUZHOU -Fly to Suzhou via Shanghai. Overnight in Suzhou.
Day 10: SUZOU/SHANGHAI -Sightseeing in Suzhou. Lingering Garden, Silk Factory, Shan Tang WaterTown. Afternoon bus ride to Shanghai. Overnight in Shanghai.
Day 11: SHANGHAI -Full day sightseeing in Shanghai. Walk the Bund. Visit to Shanghai Museum.Mongolian BBQ lunch. Old French Concession. Night cruise on the Huangpu River.
Day 12: Depart Shanghai for USA - Shanghai morning excursion to Oriental TV Tower. Transfer to airport via the Meglav, world’s fastest train.
