The Sojourn of Israelties, the Exodus, the divding of waters, the wilderness wandering, the giving of the Ten Commandments to Moses, the dominant character of the old testament .... All take place on Egyptian soil, the roots of liturgical garments worn yet today are Egyptian.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Pharaonic Cairo. Arrive Cairo A/P , meet & assist & transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Old Cairo Churches. Visit Coptic Museum of Coptic antiquities & icons. Visit churches: “El Moalaka “ Suspended built on the 5th Cent. AC. “Abu Serga“ built on the 4th Cent. AC. Over the cave where H.F. sheltered. ”St. George” Greek Orthodox. At Maadi visit Virgin Mary church at shore of Their departure point to Upper Egypt by saling boat, plus Holy Bilble found floating at ”Blessed be Egypt My Peolple“ Isa. 19 : 25 – visit Coptic Cathedral for remains of St.Mark.
Day 3: Pharaonic Cairo. Visit Egyptian Museum, Pyramids & Sphinx of Guiza (One of the world's 7 wonders)plus step Pyramids of Sakkara. "These are the Journeys of the Children of Israel which wenth forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses & Aaron" Numb. 33 : 1
Day 4: Sinai. On the way to St. Catherine Monastery stop at Elim (stop no. 7 of Ex.) ”And they removed from Morah, and came unto Elim, and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and three score and ten palm trees, and they pitched there” Numb. 33 :9 Proceed to Dophkah (stop no. 9 of Ex.) “And they took thir journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophakah“ Numb. 33 : 12. Proceed to temple of Sarabit El Khadem, arrive St. Catherine (Mount of God).
Day 5: Mount of God – Holy Ground. At dawn climb Mount of God, main stop of the Exodus, of Ten Commandments given to Moses by God Himself. “And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount; and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount, and Moses went up“ Ex. 19 :20 Later visit st. Catherine Monastery, Basilica Church & Burning Bush "And he said draw not higher; put of thy shoes from of thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is Holy Ground" Ex. 3 :5. Proceed to visit Shrine of Prophet Aaron. Back to Cairo.
Day 6: 1st World Monastery / Red Sea. Visit St. Anthony's Monastery, God father of priests - Founder of Monasticism. The Monastery hoses 5 churches & library with thousands of books. If possible also visit Monastery of St. Paul that houses 4 churches & a library. Back to Cairo
Day 7: Wadi Natroun Monasteries. A stop of Holy Family – visit Suiriani Monastery + Anba Bishoy Monastery (residence of Pope Shenouda III), successors no. 117 of St. Mark the Apostle - Back to Cairo.
Day 8: Pharaonic Cairo. Transfer to Cairo A/P for departure

Day 8: Nile cruise. Transfer to Cairo A/P to fly to Aswan for Nile Cruise Lunch - Feluca ride - Dinner
Day 9: Breakfast - visit High Dam & Philala Temple - sail to Kom -Ombo - lunch - visit temple of Kom Ombo - Dinner - sail to Edfu.
Day 10: Breakfast - visit Edfu temple - lunch - sail to Luxor - Dinner
Day 11: Breakfast - at Luxor visit Wet & East Banks - transfer to A/P for flight to Cairo Cairo; assist & transfer to hotel
Day 12: Assist & transfer to Cairo A/P
