Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Delhi Check in Hotel. You are free till 1 P.M. next day, to enable you to sample some of Delhi 's avian and historical sights, or to just relax and recover after your flight. Our Tour escort will help you & accompany you, typical birds of the city include Black Kite, Laughing and Spotted Doves, Ring-necked Parakeet, Little Swifts, Little Green Bee-eater, Black Drongo and a variety of shrikes, mynas, bulbuls and babblers. The pretty little Five-striped Palm Squirrel may be seen everywhere. Overnight hotel. Day 2: Delhi. Full day sight seeing. Overnight hotel. Day 3: New Delhi-Ranthambhor. You will be picked up from your hotel to connect morning train to Ranthambhor National Park. Arrive at 1300 hours. You will be met and transferred to the wildlife resort. Afternoon drive to the park in open canter (truck) for tiger-tracking. Overnight in a Jungle Lodge. Days 4-5: Ranthambhor National Park. Morning and afternoon visits to the park for nature watch and tiger tracking in open-top trucks and jeeps. Overnight in a Jungle Lodge. Day 6: Ranthambhor National Park-Keoladeo (Bharatpur) Bird Sanctuary. Morning visit to the park for nature watch and tiger tracking in open-top truck / jeep. Post lunch, drive to Keoladeo Ghana National Park (i.e. Bharatpur; 5 hr.) Arrive in the evening. Overnight in the hotel. Day 7: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary-Agra (room only). Morning & evening inside the bird sanctuary with your own cycle rickshaw and a driver cum guide. Overnight in a hotel. Day 8: Agra-Kanha National Park. Morning guided tour of Taj Mahal (Friday closed) and Red Fort. Connect overnight air-conditioned sleeper train to Jabalpur in late afternoon. Overnight in air-conditioned sleeper class train. Day 9: You reach early morning Jabalpur. Transfer to Hotel Krishna for freshen up & breakfast. After breakfast you leave for Kanha National Park (3 hrs. Drive) & check in at The Krishna Jungle Resort. Evening Safari. Day 10: Morning & evening game safari. Day 11: Kanha-Bandhavgarh National Park. Morning visit to the park. Drive to Bandhavgarh National Park after breakfast (5 hr). Arrive Bandhavgarh in the evening. Overnight in a wildlife resort. Days 12-13: Bandhavgarh National Park. Morning and evening jungle visits for tiger tracking, nature watch or birding in jeeps. Overnight at a wildlife resort. Day 14: Bandhavgarh National Park-Delhi. Morning visit to the park in a jeep. Afternoon drive (time permitting). Drive to Umaria (1-hr.) in the evening to connect overnight air-conditioned sleeper class train to Delhi. Day 15: Delhi-Onward Destination (room only).
