Day 1
ROCKING ON BIKE
6:30: Start the trip with a private car to Tien Giang.
8h00: Boat to Thoi Son Island. See the daily activities of local people along the river,
sellers & buyers bargaining & exchanging fish etc.
- Row a boat through a canal observing how people make their living from fruit trees.
9h00: Ride your bike (about 2 hours) around the village shaded by coconut trees, pass
immense green rice fields and admire the beautiful scenery .
- Watch children be happy on the way back to home from school and high school girls
are beautiful in AO DAI uniform.
- Visit some houses to make friends with local people and see their real life. Be greeted by the warm welcome of the locals.
- Take an overview of the "Making Rice Procedure" in one Rice workshop.
- Get to know about the "same same but different" TREES in Mekong Delta. Practice it and guess the names of these trees just by your NOSE.
14h00: Boat trip back to My Tho City.
14h30: Car to Vinh Long. We will get to the host family by a motor - boat and get acquainted with the family. Have dinner with the host family. After that we row a boat through the canal and watch fire-flies or join in making some common foods.
Have well sleep in the traditional house of Mekong Delta.
Day 2
EXPERIENCE THE REAL LIFE
Visit the village floating market in the early morning and see how people
there live and trade.
The boat will take us to see some traditional local industries: brick , rice papers, rice cake. Participate in making rice paper.
Let's walk through the fruit gardens and fields. You can feed the fish and cultivate farm products.
Then, we visit a local temple, back to the home stay and join in cooking for lunch.
Take a rest, say good bye to host family.
1.30pm: Bus back to Ho Chi Minh city.
5pm: Here we are, Welcome back to Innoviet Office.
