Tour Itinaray
Day 1 - Arrive Vientiane
On arrival in Vientiane, welcome by our guide and transfer to your hotel. Depends on your arrival time, we will have a short visit of Vientiane. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 2 - Vientiane-Luang Prabang
Transfer to Wattay Airport for a morning flight to the former royal capital, Luang Prabang. Arrive in Luang Prabang and transfer to hotel before setting out to explore some of the sights of this peaceful, provincial city. Today’s main attractions are the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum, Wat Mai and its famous bas-reliefs. Continue on foot through the small streets to Wat Xieng Muan before returning to climb the 328 steps to Mount Phousi. Overnight in Luang Prabang. (Breakfast)
Day 3 - Pak Ou Caves excrusions
Visit beautiful Wat Xieng Thong showing its best face in the morning sun, the Wat That, Wat Visun and Wat Aham before embarking on a half-day boat trip on the Mekong River to visit Wat Chompet and then the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. In Pak Ou, thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues are crammed into the two caves carved out of a towering limestone cliff. Return to Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang. (Breakfast)
Day 4 - Luang Prabang
A very special (optional) dawn visit before breakfast to witness the long lines of orange-robed monks leaving their pagodas to receive offerings of food from Luang Prabang residents. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Half day city tour of Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang. (Breakfast)
Day 5 - Depart Luang Prabang
Breakfast is in hotel. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (Breakfast)
