Set off for the Volta Region the most picturesque region in Ghana for a visit to the beautiful Wli Waterfalls, the highest in Ghana and the craftsmen dealing in Kente cloth, pottery, drum making, etc. Set off for a tour of Mount Afadjato, Ghana's highest peak. First visit the village of Liati Wote at the base of the mountain. Enjoy a two hour hike to the Liate falls, with great views as far as distant Lake Volta en route, as well as birdlife and occasional glimpses of monkeys or small antelope.
