As one of the four cradles of humans civilization, China is unique among travel destinations. Indulge yourself in the river of 5,000 years of Chinese history, we will be hovering the history by visiting the most significant ancient capitals. Starting from Beijing, the capital of China, stop at the eldest capital of Xiian and ended at the most beautiful and abundant Hangzhou, this program leads you to some of China's most interesting sites that shaped Chinese history and takes you a journey back to China's mystic history from 11th BC until the up to date of China.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing.

Day 2: Our discovery of this 2,000-year-old city begins as we ride rickshaws through Beijing's ancient back roads and alleys (hutongs) and enjoy a home visit. Visit vast Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City, seat of imperial power during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Day 3: Tour the Temple of Heaven complex. Walk on the Great Wall, the network of ancient defense installations that stretch for 2,480 miles from the East China Sea to Central Asia. Tonight savor a traditional Peking Duck dinner.

Day 4: Visit the Summer Palace, the former royal retreat that is now a lovely park. The remainder of the day is at leisure or explore the bustling Panjiayuan Antique Market.

Day 5: Fly to Xian, a provincial backwater until the accidental discovery of the Terra Cotta Warriors in 1974. Tour the impressive nine-mile city wall and moat, then enjoy a special dumpling lunch. Visit Shanxi Provincial History Museum. Attend a Tang Dynasty Show and dinner.

Day 6: Visit the revered Wild Goose Pagoda. Tour the museum housing the army of 7,000 life-sized Terra Cotta Warriors that had lain buried and forgotten for more than two millennial.

Day 7: Visit the newly opened Han Yangling Mausoleum en-route before taking flight to Hangzhou, the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world. Upon arrival, we start our Hangzhou tour with a leisure stroll the gardens along the West Lake.

Day 8: Visit Guo Family's Courtyard, a rare visited private garden along the West Lake. After lunch at a trendy restaurant at lake's bank, we start hiking along the valleys of the famous Longjing tea plantations, and end at the Tea Museum. Today's program ends with sampling a cup of green tea.

Day 9: Drive to Zhouzhuang water town in the morning. Spend the whole afternoon explore the mystic and tranquil water town. Overnight at the wooden house of the water town.

Day 10: Drive to Suzhou, the kingdom of gardens as well as the center of silk and embroidery in China. We visit the Garden of Humber Administrator or Garden of the Master and Nets before a visit to the Silk Museum. Arrive at Shanghai in the late afternoon.

Day 11: Depart for home. Trip ends.
