Including the most classic China highlights, this program is perfectly designed for the first time visitor to China. Delve into the ancient China, this program starts from the capital Beijing, the capital of Middle Kingdom for centuries. Beijing has long been stirring and is now moving forward in gigantic leaps. The journey continues to the oldest city in China, Xian. Xian still is well preserved its dignity as the home to the ruling houses of the Qin, Han, Sui and Tang dynasties. Then we fly to the south part of China to experience the picturesque landscape of Guilin, cruising on the beautiful Li River and a leisure stroll on the country side road provides the perfect backdrop as the ending of the classic China trip.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing.

Day 2: Our discovery of this 2,000-year-old city begins as we ride rickshaws through Beijing's ancient back roads and alleys (hutongs) and enjoy a home visit. Visit vast Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City, seat of imperial power during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Day 3: Tour the Temple of Heaven complex. Walk on the Great Wall, the network of ancient defense installations that stretch for 2,480 miles from the East China Sea to Central Asia. Tonight savor a traditional Peking Duck dinner.

Day 4: Visit the Summer Palace, the former royal retreat that is now a lovely park. Visit the Olympic venues.

Day 5: Fly to Xian, a provincial backwater until the accidental discovery of the Terra Cotta Warriors in 1974. Tour the impressive nine-mile city wall and moat, then enjoy a special dumpling lunch. Visit Shanxi Provincial History Museum. Optionally attend a Tang Dynasty Show and dinner.

Day 6: Visit the revered Wild Goose Pagoda. Tour the museum housing the army of 7,000 life-sized Terra Cotta Warriors that had lain buried and forgotten for more than two millennia.

Day 7: Visit the newly opened Han Yangling Mausoleum en-route before taking flight to Guilin, the most beautiful place in China. Afternoon we take some leisure stroll belong the beautiful Li River.

Day 8: Visit Li River by cruise, embark on Fuli in the noon time. Visit the traditional water town Fuli Village, a small and peaceful ancient fishing town about 1,000 years old. Enjoy the water performance The Third Sister of Liu directed by the most famed director Mr. Zhang Yimou.

Day 9: Biking around Yangshuo, local market, cooking lesson, cormorant fishing, Visit Liusanjie's village at Gudong National Park, Liusanjie Water Performance.

Day 10: Drive to Guilin this morning, depart for home; trip ends.
