Walk through the archaeological park of Tikal, declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. It is the most important Mayan civilization's metropolis of Central America. Go into the Peten jungle that protect great mysteries and treasures of Mayan pyramids, temples, altars, palaces, steels and fields of soccer.
You will visit the impressive constructions of the Mayan Classic Period such as: The Great Jaguar, The World Lost, Pyramid IV, The Central Plaza, The Place of the Masks and many others. The journey begins transferring you by bus toward a nearby airport where you will take a charter flight toward Flores City, Peten. At the airport our bus will take you toward to Tikal National Park, where you will live an unforgettable experience. During the journey you will enjoy a picnic in the area of the archaeological park. At the end of the tour and after your lunch, you will return to the ship.
We advice you to wear comfortable clothing and footwear for long walks and climbing. Avoid having exposed your calves and feet. Use repellent against mosquitoes and solar blocker. You can take lantern and binoculars. Stay well hydrated.
