The beautiful Island of La Gomera is an unspoilt paradise in the Canary Islands. As yet untouched by the tourist industry, La Gomera is an island of tranquility and contrast, its landscapes ranging from barren coastline dotted with traditional fishing villages to a mountainous core of misty rain forests, banana plantations and terraces.

Argayall is set in a secluded bay just outside the fishing village and dolphin center of Vueletas. Flanked all around by impressive rocks, the Finca (farmhouse) at Argayall draws it's energy from the elements that converge on this magical spot. A self sufficient organic farm, the property has its own natural spring (the water is said to have healing properties).

During your stay, you will enjoy 3 superb organic vegetarian buffet meals per day, included in the cost of your holiday. Amenities at The Finca are plentiful and there's lots to do between your yoga classes. Two pools, one heated at body temperature for water therapies and one full size to have a cooling swim in the heat of the day. Or you may want to hang around in the shade of the rubber trees. There's also a variety of therapies such as massage and reiki available every day.

There are two daily yoga workshops, a choice of meditation classes, Tai Chi and belly Dancing. We'll be running two excursions; one to the Rain forest and a boat trip to see dolphins in their natural habitat, still leaving plenty of time to relax and sunbathe on the lawns or beach.

La Gomera has a range of accommodation:
- Canvas Yurts - spacious and fully standing on wooden floor platforms with private verandas, set in the shade of the mango trees. These tents are fully equipped, as all rooms, with twin beds, lighting, and clothes storage space. Please note that if you choose a tent you are sleeping outdoors and as such should feel comfortable with the stirrings and friendly companionship of nature!
- Standard Rooms - a row of prettily decorated rooms along a shared shady veranda, with use of shared showers and bathrooms at either end. Quiet and comfortable, each room is simply designed and most have washbasins.
- En suite Rooms - A row of en suite rooms at the heart of the Finca facing the sea with small private balconies at rear. Each room has patio doors leading on to communal sea view veranda.
- En suite Apartments - Just a two minute walk up the hill to the rear of the Finca, these 3 apartments come with their own private swimming pool that overlooks the sea, with stunning views.

Join Rishi and Kathryn on the beautiful Island of La Gomera. Rishi lives year round on Argayall and is their resident Natrapath, she teaches Integral yoga working with energy lines within the body to release emotions in a gentle way. Kathryn, based at London's Tri Yoga teaches Kundalini yoga, a powerful style of Yoga that can be used very effectively to heal and raise energy levels. Kathryn will be teaching all morning sessions and Rishi will be teaching in the afternoons. The group will also have the benefits of a Belly Dance class and a salsa class during the week with Sylva Huderlik.

There's also a daily dynamic meditation class or Vipassana to compliment your classes. We'll be running two excursions; one to the Rain forest and a boat trip to see dolphins in their natural habitat, plus evening entertainment of Belly Dancing and dinner at a seafront fish restaurant. This still leaves you plenty of time to relax and sunbathe in the gardens or on the beach.

Join Andrea Everingham on the beautiful Island of La Gomera. Andrea will be teaching two daily yoga workshops. She has a friendly and intuitive approach and is well respected in her home town of Manchester for her promotion of health and well being. On this holiday Andrea will teach Vinyassa Flow yoga. She also teaches Astanga, Budokon and is a personal fitness trainer, however we believe that on a yoga course it is important to be gentle with your body and concentrate on a more relaxing style of yoga.

So whilst Andrea can encourage a dynamic approach from the group, she will also be taking care and attention to ensure that you are working at a slower pace and being aware of your body, with concentration on the physiology and anatomy of yoga and meditative practice. There's also a daily Kundalini class or meditation to compliment your classes.

Suzy's classes are fun. She often takes time to discuss postures and encourages learning from each other. As a result, the classes are suitable for all levels of ability and experience. Suzy also works for a creative business consultancy and as a personal coach using her training in NLP, Yoga, art and theater. She will encourage you to think about what you are doing with your mind as well as your body!

She has also studied a wide range of different psychopathics ways of healing to enhance physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. As highly experienced Naturopath she uses a number of tools to help people restore and maintain good health. Out of her knowledge of the body's energy system from Acupuncture, she created a combination of Yoga exercises.

They are able to release blocked energies, optimize all body functions and regulate your energy potential. The focus will be on lower back, hips and regaining flexibility of the spine, with exercises to maintain your health and find your center. Kathryn trained as a Kundalini Yoga teacher with SKY (School of Kundalini Yoga) in the UK and currently teaches at the Yoga Therapy Center, Lotus Lifestyle and Triyoga in London. She has taught yoga and mantra workshops in Australia and Europe and her career as a professional singer and teacher of singing informs her approach to mantras which are integral to Kundalini Yoga.

She has released a healing mantra CD - Ra Ma Da Sa which is available throughout London and she has performed at Yoga Festivals in France and London. Kathryn is currently recording an album of mantras with Anjali Sisters that will be available later in the year.

David Sye is the creator of Yogabeats a safe holistic yoga practice that embraces the social aspects of yoga today. Combining his two passions of music and yoga David has developed a practice that encourages enhanced focus and more flexible movement through the use of beats and sound. David Sye started teaching his present style of yoga during the war in former Yugoslavia, once his home. He used rhythms to block out the sounds of the war and to concentrate on his practice. The result was one of amazing euphoria, not only in the body but, in the creation of a moment of complete stillness within the mind.

David teaches classes in a variety of gyms, from Holmes Place to the Third Space in the center of London. His classes are of normal duration (1 - 1.5hrs) and are done with David teaching to specially compiled CD. His teaching style is exceptional and quite different from most other teachers, developed over 20years of practice. The Yogabeats philosophy is that; the body should be free to shift and move naturally within classical postures.

This has a dynamic, beneficial low impact effect upon the joints and tissues creating great strength, suppleness and a feeling of liberation within the body. This principle is based on David's understanding that physically each person is unique and the body naturally shifts and moves in order to feel comfortable. The music David adds to the practice encourages his class to move naturally in the postures through their own instinct and rhythm.

Amy Ku Redler has trained and studied in Thailand and UK, practiced and taught Thai Yoga Massage since 1991. Yoga has been and continues to be a significant and vital part of Amy's personal as well as professional development. She teaches Yoga and Thai Yoga Massage courses and workshops in London, Italy and Thailand. Amy is a founding member of TTYMA the first Thai Yoga Massage association in the UK. Amy also practices holistic massage (ITEC, London) and ayurvedic massage (learned in India). She has been featured in recent years in articles in The Sunday Times, Vogue, Shape and cited as one of London's top 100 therapists in the London Evening Standard.

Sylva Huderlik is a professional Belly Dancer. She started ballet dancing at the tender age of six and progressed on to classical scenic dance. At 18 she left her home country, the Czech Republic and spent a few years exploring Europe, The Middle East and Japan. Immersing herself in Eastern and oriental cultures, six years ago Sylva fell in love with Belly Dancing. She learned from European and Arabic teachers and through the years developed her own style, finding lighthearted and easy ways to teach the basics of Oriental Dance to European students.

Her teaching philosophy is to learn in a fun way which is the very essence and origin of Belly Dancing. In ancient times Belly dancers only performed among themselves for enjoyment and relaxation. They used their basic natural movements - powerful yet elegant, and most of all sensual. Their dance was not intended to be seen by men at all, but of course, once men got to know of this secret, how could they resist wanting to watch?
