School of English for Everyone offers English language education for students at a great location in downtown Auckland. Our classes have a maximum of 14 students. We offer Cambridge BEC Business English courses as well as Cambridge and TOEIC Exam Preparation classes. We arrange Homestays with New Zealand families and all of our families are carefully inspected and selected. In addition we offer single and share apartment accommodation, located in Newmarket.
School of English for Everyone is famous for its international mixture of students. We have many students from Europe, South America, Asia, The Middle East and French Polynesia. We have more than 30 different nationalities studying at Worldwide Schools. Native language counsellors, academic counselling/placement for further study and airport pick-up is all free for all of our Students.
Faculty Information:
This option is offered 4 times a year, continues for 8 weeks (although students are able to join and/or finish during the 8 weeks) and introduces students to the basics of professional business communication.
Business English is a General English Afternoon Option for higher level students (Upper Intermediate, Advanced, Proficiency) who usually take it as part of a full-time intensive course. The fees are the same as General English. We prefer students take the whole 8 weeks but less is possible if the student can't study for 8 weeks.
Subjects that the class covers include:
- writing memos, emails, letters and faxes
- business vocabulary, using the telephone and internet for business and using business documents and forms
Speaking is an important part of the class. Students will learn how to introduce themselves, how to talk in front of a group and how to discuss a product or a business topic and how to write and deliver a business presentation. Students will also learn how different kinds of businesses are organised and run. This class is highly recommended for anyone who wants to use English for their job or study for a business degree in the future. We are able to arrange for students to take the internationally recognised BEC (Business English Certificate) exam at an affiliated test centre in Auckland. The BEC exams are a part of the Cambridge ESOL test suite and are currently recognised in over 19 countries. There are three BEC exams - BEC Preliminary (Intermediate), BEC Vantage (Upper-Intermediate) and BEC Higher (Advanced-Proficiency), which are designed to test English language ability in the context of business.
Other Activities:
A full range of after school activities, social events and weekend trips are also organised through our activity and social programme.

- September 24 - November 30 + BEC exam
